Michael Mancha is a Licensed Chief Investigator. He oversees all services and team members for Pilum Defense Agency. He brings 20 years of experience in public safety, military intelligence, and criminal defense investigations. He worked several years as a Senior Criminal Defense Investigator for the nationally recognized Colorado State Public Defender’s Office. He is a former National Trainer for the National Crime Prevention Council and is currently a Certified Negotiation Expert.
Mr. Mancha served nine years as a Non-Commissioned Officer with the United States Marine Corps, punctuated by multiple combat tours with Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. As a senior NCO, Mr. Mancha was responsible for overseeing intelligence gathering, analysis and dissemination in support of combat operations.
Mr. Mancha is a recipient of numerous awards, including the Combat Action Ribbon, Presidential Unit Citation, and Navy Achievement Medal during combat duty. Mr. Mancha graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver, and is currently enrolled in UCD’s MBA program.
While much of his experience is highly tactical and investigative in nature, Mr. Mancha applies a distinct psychological angle to his work – finely tuned from a rich civilian, military, and academic background.
Mr. Mancha is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, The American Legion, Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, Disabled American Veteran, Wounded Warrior Project, Professional Private Investigation Association of Colorado.
